Pity fist bump FTW

You know what's mildly embarrassing? When you think someone is offering up a fist bump, but they're really just asking for their pen back. Their follow up pity fist bump is then nice, but still a pity fist bump.

Or when you're walking down the street and someone waves at you, and you wave back before you realize (A) you don't know them after all and (B) they're waving at someone behind you. Then they see you and wave back, looking confused and embarrassed. Pity wave. :(
